Post  mircenaj on Mon Jan 05, 2009 11:58 pm

Hi, im new, you answered one of my questions, and i came to your site (which is great by the way). I really think you could use a domain name(funionchemistry.com? lol), its like $10 at namecheap.com.

Maybe. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll look into it.

It looks like we can get a pretty good deal from this site, forumotion.com. The cost is $20 per year. Now, we just need a good domain name that is available. I'm open to anything right now. Any and all suggestions for a new domain name can go here.

To check availability, you can use http://www.networksolutions.com/ .

Right now, the URL to this site is
Code:
http://chemistry.forumotion.com

Ideally, it is nice to have a URL (website name) such as
Code:
http://www.chemhelp.com
or something similar. A domain name means I can drop the ".forumotion.com" and make it whatever i want.com. Easier to remember.

So, if you think of any chemistry-help-related domain names, just post.

  • chemforums.org

Those are based on availability. http://www.networksolutions.com tells you what's available as far as .com, .org etc.
