Re: Is this a helpful site?
Perhaps. The reason we added the wikipedia searchbar was so that people who wanted information like that about some molecules could simply type in the molecule name and then find out the information, which is usually available from the wikipeida articles. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Re: Is this a helpful site?
That's actually not a bad idea. I added a link to boiling/melting points under the "Data" category for now.

...Apparently someone doesn't know how to spell "boiling". Changed.

The links sidebar has been updated. It now includes links to a few helpful guides. A handy pH calculator has also been added under the "Tools" section. The symbols page has been made more organized.

Re: Is this a helpful site?
I'll try to contribute, but keep in mind my knowledge is very limited. (I'm in grade 9).
However, I do think this is a good site for science and math help. When break ends (tommorrow
), I'll be using this site instead of Yahoo Answers. (nice advertising in every answer, funion
)
Keep it up guys!

THE SITE NEEDS MORE PEOPLE! (I'm not sure how to fix this issue, but as long as there are only a few people, it won't be as helpful compared to other larger sites.)
ideas?

Re: Is this a helpful site?
Thanks a lot, dude
. I'm trying the best I can as far a members. We seem to be getting a steady amount viewers on the site based off the counter on the sidebar. However, we aren't getting a lot of users registered. I automatically registered 2 people today, but they never returned to the site after registering. That happens a lot. I sent an email out today asking people who haven't visited in 10 days to come back. Anyways, I appreciate the support and loyalty to the Forums.

Well, you know I have been regularly advertising on Yahoo Answers. This seems to be an effective method to get people to the site. I think it would be more effective, though, if everyone who uses these forums could maybe once a day, whenever you have time (I'm not trying to force anything) just post a good answer and a link to this site.
I think people will see that it's not just some crazy guy with a no-name site trying to form some kind of cult that way. That's what I can think of for now, anyway.
