hi,
I have Science homework, I would greatly apprecaiate it if you could answer the following questions;
1.what is the difference between a mixture and a compound?
2.what are the main gases found in the Earth's atmosphere and what is the percentage composition?
3.why is oxygen important to living organisms? (obvious? I know)
4.why is carbon dioxide important to living organisms?
5.what us Ozone?
6. Ozone is both helpful and harmful to to living organisms. how is it helpful and how is it harmful?
7. What are CFC'S and how do the affect the atmosphere?
8. what is the montreal protocal?
9. plants can be grown in greenhouse. how does a greenhouse work?
10. what is the 'greenhouse effect' in Earth's atmosphere and how is it it thought to be brought on?
thankyou soooo much, you dont have to answer all of these, and i am not copying your answers word from word i just want a reference to see if my other information is right.

1. A mixture may be made up of multiple elements or compounds.

And...well, I have some homework and stuff of my own to do now, so I don't have much more time to answer the rest of your questions. Razz However, most of these can probably be found using Google.

If you need any additional help confirming specific answers, feel free to post again.

Ozone is a toxic substance for humans. Although, while it is in the atmosphere, it ensures that we don't die of heat stroke.
