Description of cycloheximide

Cycloheximide produced by cycloheximide Actinomyces broth was a mention antibiotics. Colorless crystals. Cycloheximide soluble in methanol, ethanol and acetone, slightly soluble in water. Acid, heat-resistant, easy to decompose under alkaline conditions. Cycloheximide on yeast, mold, protozoa, bacteria, etc., etc. inhibited. No significant inhibitory effect on bacteria. Agriculture, for the prevention and treatment of cycloheximide cherry leaf spot, shot hole cherry, peach Sclerotinia, Rhizoctonia oak, mint and pine blister rust, black scars of sweet potato disease, chrysanthemum, rose scab and mildew disease.
