The basic situation of Methyl myristate

Methyl myristate is a colorless liquid or white waxy solid, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, soluble in alcohol or ether, with like honey and iris-like aroma. Methyl myristate(Easechem) is tetradecanoic acid esterification with methanol derived. Myristic acid methyl ester used in the honey, coconut and other food flavors, and for daily use fragrance. Methyl myristate was also used for preparation of organic chemicals.
