From VIT. D3 (RANDY) This antibiotic was the second one discovered in soil. It is also called terramycin. It led directly to the discovery/synthesis of the much used antibiotic- Doxycycline. I see it for sale all the time infarm supply stores for use on cattle. All your formentioned cautions are correct also. By the way, I have used PEN.-G injectable from farm supply stores on myself, but I would not use the tetracycline except for topical. It IS good for acne(never had that) if used correctly.Good Night,Remember, This com. is always on.Don't know your time zone. Send any time
