Spicy food: red peppers or jalapenos harm esophageal walls a lot. When you finish eating, you will find your heart and stomach ache a little. You still have such feelings even when you put some cream on them so as to reduce the harm.

Chocolates: if you eat many, you store many calories. For people who suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease, they can have unpleasant feelings after eating chocolates. If you have to eat chocolates, you’d better choose black chocolates because they contain many healthy elements, such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and copper. Beside, they contain the lowest sugar and fat among various chocolates.

Fried food: fried chicken and chips are so high in fat and oil which could cause diseases if they accumulate in the stomach. Oil produces an indigestible substance called “acrylic acid” at high temperature.

Orange juice: acidic drinks can harm the esophageal and stimulates sensory nerves. As a result, the stimulated area is inflamed. If you drink a glass of orange juice once you get up, it can increase the acidity of your stomach. If you drink lemon juice with lots of sugar, you are likely to have diarrhea. Orange juice contain much vitamin c which id healthy for the body. So if you drink it at the right time, there will be no problem. You can drink it when having meals or between meals.

Broccoli and cabbage: they not only contain much vitamins and dietary fibers, but also have the function of preventing cancers and aging. Even so, we can not believe those vegetables are completely healthy because vegetables high in fibers can enlarge your stomach and accumulate gases there.

Beans: oligosaccharide such as stachyose and raffinose contained in beans are fermented by intestinal bacteria and thus produce some gases. As a result, people have hiccup, borborygmus, abdominal distension and stomachache.

Raw onion: there are many nutrients in onions, garlic and Chinese chives. For example, they protect the heart but they also can cause uncomfortable feelings, like flatulence and stomachache.

Ice cream: cold food as ice cream, ice sucker and cold drinks can influence the normal operation of stomach, and cause indigestion. Though you feel them delicious when enjoy them, you will soon find you have a bad appetite, abdominal distension, and stomachache when finish them.

And thus, you have to learn to control yourself. Don’t eat such foods too often and too much. Don’t ruin your health for just a temporary enjoyment.
