Stoichiometry question

Post  ceceliaweisz on Tue Oct 04, 2011 7:30 pm

I'm having difficulties with stoichi so I'd appreciate an explanation of each step =)
50 ml of a solution of AgNO3 is added to an excess of NaCl solution. AgCl is the precipitate formed; it's weight is 0.74 g. what is the weight of the AgNO3 in the solution?

What I have done so far:
AgNO3 + NaCl --> AgCl + NaNO3
M of AgNO3 = ??
