Mass Percent
What volume of a 1.63 mass % solution of Mg(NO3)2 is needed to contain 0.316 grams of Mg(NO3)2? The solution has a density of 1.016 g/ml.
1.63 mass % = (0.316 g Mg(NO3)2 / grams of solution) * 100
19.4 grams of solution
19.4 grams of solution * (1 ml / 1.016 grams) = 19.09448819 ml
Answer = 19.1 ml Mg(NO3)2
Is this correct? Any advice is much appreciated!
