Age of drywall water stain

Post  randylewiskemp on Thu Feb 09, 2012 9:59 am

I recently had a friend approached by a condo unit below them. They showed them a stain that appeared to be completely dry. So I have two questions:

1. Is their any scientific tests (i.e. via chemistry, physics, etc.) that can determine the age of a drywall stain?
