Physcal chemistry Raoult's law

1. Derive the Raoult's law

2. The vapour pressure of water at 2oo c is 17mm. Calculate the vapour pressure of a solution containig 3 grams of urea in 50grams of water.

3. Suppose 100mls of aqueous solution containing A grams of an organic substance is to be extracted with 100mls of ether (K is twice in favour of ether) in one lot or twice. Show that two portions of 50 mls ether is more efficient than one 100ml ether
